Teen Time

ABOUT TEEN TIME

Teen Time is an out of school care program that  is community based, flexible and meets each teenager’s needs for care in a creative, stimulating, safe and secure environment after school and during school holidays.

AIMS OF THE PROGRAM

  • Provide quality care and a range of stimulating recreational activities.
  • Provide a safe, comfortable, relaxed and ‘fun’ environment.
  • Recognise and accommodate the individual needs of each teenager attending.
  • Involve the teenagers, parents and the school community in the program management and operation.

 WHO CAN ACCESS TEEN TIME?

  • Teenagers attending Secondary School aged between 12 and 18 years
  • Teenagers with a disability (as recognised under the Disability Services Act NSW 1993)
  • Teenagers who reside in the Riverina Murray Region, NSW and or go to school in NSW

HOURS OF OPERATION 

Vacation care:                    8.15am to 5.45pm School holidays (Not public holidays or pupil free days)

After school care:              3.00pm  to 5.50pm sharp (every school day)

ACTIVITIES

The program provides a variety of planned activities, which include indoor and outdoor games, art, craft, music and sporting activities.  Teenagers playing outside will be supervised at all times. 

Afternoon tea, which includes fruit, cheese, hot and cold drinks and a variety of nutritious snacks, is provided each day.  Teenagers with food allergies or specific food requirements can be catered for.
